Let me introduce myself

I love the challenge and thrill that comes from taking photographs, especially shooting sport.

I have been shooting the local, national & international Lacrosse held in Adelaide for 'Lacrosse SA' since 1992.  My images have been used by Lacrosse Australia, Lacrosse SA and the WA Lacrosse Association for magazine articles, covers and web pages.  They have also appeared in US Lacrosse magazines (eg Inside Lacrosse).  My passion for the great game comes from playing it at club / state level and a strong family connection with both Men's and Women's lacrosse as players and with administration.

I have photographed athletics for the SA Little Athletics Association since 2002.  I have also shot local, state and national soccer, football, cricket, baseball/softball, basketball, canoeing/kayaking and many sports-days .  In addition, I have had media accreditation as a photographer to such motor-sport events as F1 Grand Prix,  V8 Supercars, Classic Adelaide Rally, Speedway and Drag Racing.

At SA Sports Images, I don't just restrict myself to sports, I also shot photo-journalism, studio and on location portraits, landscapes and products for advertising.  I offer a graphic design service if you need posters, brochures and advertisements.  My commercial work has been used in a wide variety of print and internet magazines, newspapers, shop-walls, brochures / flyers and internet sites.

I have a Bachelor of Education in Technology and Industrial Arts, which included training in Photography and Graphic Design.  I've added to my knowledge and skills with numerous courses in portraiture, studio lighting and digital imaging.  I have been a full-time teacher of Photography and Graphics since 1986.
